A life-long advocate for veterans, Ms. Osborn received a Governor’s appointment to a New Jersey State Veterans Home Advisory Board where she served for three years. She is proud to have represented Veterans’ Service Organizations on the President’s National Hire Veterans Committee during its tenure from 2003-2006. In 2006 she received a White House appointment to the Selective Service Board and is the proud recipient of the 2007 James C. Gates Award, given by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Department of New Jersey.
Having traveled to over thirty countries, Ms. Osborn has extensive international experience, and in 2004 she was nominated and selected as a Delegate to Turkey by the American Council of Young Political Leaders. Ms. Osborn is an alumna of the Christine Todd Whitman Excellence in Public Service Series, serves on the Advisory Board of the Hudson Union Society, and is a regular contributor to the New Jersey Conference of Mayors Magazine.
As a firm believer in “paying it forward” through volunteerism and public service, Ms. Osborn has volunteered her time for many causes since the age of 16. She has worked on local, state and federal political campaigns since 1988, and is a life-long activist for the humane treatment of animals.
